  A story of snowing

  Wisconsin is one of the northernmost states in the United States, most of the time is cold winter. The story of the quilt happens in this windy winter. It is the story of two brothers who grew up in the country, it is a first love story that is ignorant, a story of belonging, security, self-exploration, and growth.

   We humans have 99% of the same genes, but have ever-changing feelings and thoughts. The most amazing thing about this comic is that readers will find more or less resonance in this. Worry-free and occasional sad childhood, ignorant and sweet first love, and confusion and exploration towards the life, the self and the faith are in the author's gorgeous picture and the words telling domestic trivia, like the waves of the tide, hit the readers' heart again and again.

  At the end of the story, it is an instant sublimation, giving the whole confused humans an enlightened answer. I believe that as readers follow the author’s trajectory, they will receive a gift from the author when they end this winter trip. It is an epiphany, the joy from the heart, like the river that melted at the beginning of the spring, flow trickling in the heart. It turns out that all the confusion, struggle, heartbreak, and happy things in the past have shaped such a unique self.Just as the article concludes, How satisfying it is to leave a mark on a blank surface. to make a map of my movement ...no matter how temporary. 

  It is my first contact with graphic novel. Unlike traditional comics, the content of graphic novel is more literary, more serious, and more literary. Different from the traditional novels, it can achieve a direct and powerful sense of spiritual shock through the way of the picture and visual impact.
